What no one can reach will not be cleaned. A chandelier in a stairwell spanning four floors looks magnificent in its first year and dusty in its third. Therefore, accessibility must be part of the decision: how will someone reach it, how often will this be necessary, and is a retractable suspension system advisable? Models with many small individual parts appear splendid but cost significantly more to clean than smooth forms. Both are justifiable, but it should be a deliberate decision, not a coincidence.
