Most hallways do not have natural light. A single ceiling light there creates harsh shadows and makes the room feel like a corridor. It is better to have multiple light sources at different heights: wall lights by the mirror, possibly a small table lamp on the console. Warm light colors appear more inviting in a windowless room than neutral ones.
