What is Not Permitted in a Monument
Drilling into frescoes, historic ceilings, or stone jambs is generally prohibited. This shifts lighting from the ceiling to the wall and floor: floor lamps and table lamps instead of new outlets. Where a historic ceiling hook is present, it determines the position of the table.
Access in the Centro Storico
The center is a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), and access is restricted by time and area, requiring a permit. A delivery appointment must be coordinated accordingly, otherwise the truck will be parked outside and everything will have to be carried. This should be arranged before placing the order, not in the week of delivery.
