Mont Boron and the question of orientation
The houses on Mont Boron predominantly date from the 1920s and 1930s and are built for the view, i.e., facing south and west. This is beautiful and demanding for textiles: the light here is harsh at midday, light fabrics visibly bleach over a season, dark woods warp. Moving the seating group out of direct southern sun and using shutters or curtains significantly extends their lifespan. For the long, warm evening on the terrace, furniture that can truly remain outdoors is needed, i.e., genuine outdoor sofas with weather-resistant frames.
